TRIP CHECKLIST

Fishing licenses for everyone on board. You do NOT need to buy any fishing licenses.
All fishing tackle including rods, reels, lures and bait. Feel free to bring your own tackle, just let me know ahead of time.
Cold bottled water for everyone. However you can bring your own water if you prefer. NO ALCOHOL ALLOWED.
All USCG required safety gear like Type-1 life vests. Kids under 7 years old must wear a USCG approved life vest at all times. If you have kids under 7 years old, please bring a USCG approved life vest that's fits them well.

National Park Pass or Everglades Park Pass. More information below.
Sunglasses. Everyone, including kids must wear sunglasses or regular glasses. You will not be allowed to be on the vessel without them.
Hat, long sleeve fishing shirts and long pants are highly recommended but not required. Layered clothing is always recommended. Fishing shirtless is NOT allowed.
Comfortable soft sole shoes like Crocks, sneakers or similar. NO flip-flops, boots, hard sole shoes or barefoot allowed on the boat.
Light rain jacket in the summer and warm clothing in the cooler months. P.S. the ride can be very cold from Dec-Mar.
On the 6 hour and longer trips you can bring food like fruits, jerky, sandwiches. Please no potato chips, crackers, chocolates or any food that stains your hands allowed.
Please make sure to eat before the trip and go to the bathroom too. There is no toilet aboard the boat. For more information about going to the bathroom, please click on the "Information" page.

Alcohol is NOT allowed on my vessel due to my commercial insurance requirements. Please do not consume any alcohol on the day of your trip as it can impede your balance and motor skills. If anyone is believed to be under the influence of alcohol, the trip will be cancelled and NO refund will be issued. No exceptions.
Smoking is not allowed on the boat.
Drugs or being under the influence thereof is NOT allowed.)
Coolers or bulky bags. Space is very limited on a boat. You can bring 1 small bag per group with your personal belongings.
Sunscreen sprays and lotions are NOT allowed on the boat. Please apply sunscreen sprays or lotions at least 1 hour before your trip, wash your hands with soap and water afterwards. Sunscreens are extremely harsh on fishing equipment, the gelcoat of the boat and the upholstery too. The only sunscreen allowed is the dry roll-on type as they tend not to get into the fishing gear.
Bug sprays, lotions are not allowed but you can bring the bug wipes if you're a bug magnet.

Since we will be fishing in the Everglades National Park, you will be required to have National Park Pass or Everglades pass to enter the park. If you already have any of the “America the Beautiful” passes, you will not need to buy any additional pass. If you are active military or a veteran, you can get your free Military pass at https://store.usgs.gov/MilitaryPass If you do not have an America the Beautiful pass, you can buy an Everglades Park Pass (Vehicle/Vessel Pass $35) which is valid for 7 days at https://www.recreation.gov/sitepass/74278 You just need 1 pass for everyone in your group. Please wait until the day of the trip to buy the pass in case of cancellation due to bad weather.

If you made the reservation on my website using BOOKEO, your card will be charged on the day of the trip. You can also pay with cash which is highly appreciated. Please let me know ahead of time if you will be paying with cash.
If you prefer to pay with card (to get those points), I also accept all major credit cards and VENMO. Please note I do not accept Zelle.
Tipping is customary in the charter fishing industry. Tips typically range between 15%-30% of the total amount of the trip.
